Our Partners

Growing Together. Giving Together.

Thunder Gardens is grateful for the partners and sponsors who share our commitment to growing food, nurturing youth, and strengthening our community.

Community Partnership

Parkdale Food Centre

Parkdale Food Centre is a cornerstone of food security in Ottawa. Thunder Gardens is proud to partner with PFC as our charitable recipient, ensuring the food we grow reaches families in need through their food bank.

Growing Futures

Youth Growing Program at PFC

Growing Futures brings Solutionaries from PFC to Thunder Gardens, where youth work on our land to grow organic food donated directly to the PFC food bank. A Solutionary sees opportunity where others see challenges. A Solutionary is a community builder. Together we grow, together we give.

The Solutionaries Program

"Our program supports youth to hone their skills as Solutionaries and invites youth to create their own solutions to complex issues."

Community Partnership

Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa

Through our partnership with YSB's Youth Justice Stream, Thunder Gardens brings the farm to the youth. Our team works on-site at a YSB centre location, helping youth establish garden beds, learn to grow organic food, and build resilience through the growing process. The food they grow feeds youth at the centre.
